Last year, this year, & next. Curious how much on field success it says them up for.
I think Hugh Freeze needs 8 next year or he’s canned. Bare minimum and they’re spending way too much not to see improvement by then.

They will be the biggest threat to a portal QB imo. Sneaky, but their boosters will throw the kitchen sink for one given their QB situation.

Freeze has made some moronic decisions and is a bipolar coach.

He is capable of beating Georgia, Alabama, LSU, Texas, etc all in the same year. He’s also capable of losing to garbage dump Arkansas, New Mexico State, Vanderbilt, etc. You just never know.

If Chizik can win a NC, though, anyone with the right bags can

Is that the normal structure in the NIL era? A coach gets a big booster bump for a three year commitment and depending on the results decide whether they'll keep you around or not?

I know year 3 was an important year for Mario. 10-1 and a win away from the ACC championship game shows we are on the right track. He proved it. But it does feel like the NIL budget isn't as plentiful which is surprising.

What's funny about it? I clearly said in my post that winning may never come to fruition, but it won't be for lack of trying.
I'm just saying when they are having a brutal year this season that's all, but of course they going hard on the trail paying the suck tax to change the narrative down the line for future

He's also thrown his players under the bus to the media more times than I can count. The fact that it hasn't affected his recruiting at all amazes me but adding on all the losing and it just shows recruiting now is just weird especially when somebody like Freeze csn succeed

We're not in the market like that for a QB. For them ur absolutely right. Only way we go after a big name is if it falls in our laps.

Hugh doesn't put all his bags into nil structure. He's paying kids in multiple different fashions. If I was about nothing but cash I'd entertain them if I was a recruit. Possibly more than anyone. Is that normal structure? Certainly not. Hughs thing is a catch 22. Because real money has no issue with most numbers for nil since it's a business expense at the end of the day. BUT where they're standing out is what they do in the shadows first and foremost. Problem for him is it's not technically a write off. Obviously the numbers will be accounted for. But it's a risk by his money people all the same. That simply gives him a expedited time frame for them to see meaningful success. In Mario's case he's said to anyone that matters, from day 1 this is a 3 year process. But in all honesty he is behind schedule due to some kids who switched up on commitments at DB & wr. Possibly even at QB. But that is a part of recruiting especially in this era. People change their minds. Is what it is.
