Ehh im not the biggest fan. I really liked Knowles and I wish Rumph had a better connection with these SFL CBs but I’m ok with letting things play out. Plenty of kids still on the board and its May. Not gna cry over a kid who picked tallahassee over us.

Y’all have a point tho.. something’s gotta change

I really don't know what to expect anymore from him. He can't get **** then pulls a last minute guy like Christian Williams and Dunson out of his ***.

Manny has no prior ties to Rumph so I have no idea why he's still here at this point. It'd take a huge dropoff from the D IMO to see Manny canning his boyz Baker/Patke. Banda has stepped up his recruiting so I'm ok with him staying. But Rumph gotta go.

He got lucky with those 2 at the last minute. You can’t recruit like that. Eventually the luck will run out. Imagine being in the most talent rich area for you position and not being able to snag at least 1 top guy every year.

He Gets all the blame for guys he doesn’t land but NEVER gets any credit for anyone he does get . Can’t win with some of you weird and bandwagon *** mfs who can’t think for themselves and see an opinion on a board and try to regurgitate it ad infinitum...

regardless I’m not even following recruiting that closely this year given the circumstances, is what it is so I really don’t know how big of a miss this is. I assume It will be overhyped like most of the misses are because you hate everything about Miami especially rumph who is more cane than any of us ever will be

Shut the **** up. You ride Rumph's nuts and almost everyone here wants him gone. Dude sucks at recruiting and he's an ok coach.

I'm sure he'll land a couple of 4 star kids that will inevitably fall through the cracks closer to signing day but it doesn't make up for the fact that Rumph needed to be replaced when Manny took over as HC. He was supposedly let go initially and then again after this past season ended but somehow has managed to survive.

Patke was a glorified GA when he got elevated and there was no expectation he'd kill recruiting but given Rumph's background, you expected at least a major recruiting bump to offset the lack of experience at this level. Not really sure what kind of ROI he's providing the staff when you're a solid, if unspectacular position coach and a mediocre recruiter.

Always appreciate that perspective and loyalty.

Always feels like we never have a plan at CB tho. Wish we had some idea of what the board looked like. If there is a board..

@DMoney any chance you might be working on a South Florida DBs post? Would love to know what our options are.

Hope we’re chipping away at guys like Isaiah Johnson and Omarion Cooper in the background. Maybe Rumph can somehow clutch it again last second who knows.. but I’m optimistic
