Being the first offer they were on him before anyone and have been building a relationship. Recruiting is all about relentless effort and NIL of course. But loyalty and relationships still matter when all thing$ are equal.

I honestly would've felt better with dj had he picked Oregon. I know that would've been an easy flip. I think we still get him long run because LSU is broken on defense and I think they struggle this year. Wouldn't be surprised to see a change over on the defensive side of the ball to some extent. But they are very persuasive as we both know. Antoine I hope we can hold on to cause the kids upside is crazy. His length and leverage he plays with is crazy for a kid who still has a ton of development in front of him. If we do land both of them to go along with this safety class #6 here we come...

Gavin Nix would be my example of this. Mario started recruiting him late in Nix freshman year at his old high school. The guys that cover FSU always felt they were playing catch up to Mario when it came to Nix cause Mario knew Nix a lot longer. Cribby and Dee covered the meaning
