CB Jaboree Antoine commits to Miami

Honest question, do you really believe Adrian Peterson is the only player to come back and play good, before EIGHTEEN MONTHS?

Cmon man, don't wast my time with that only naming one outlier ****. I'm not gonna sit here and name you hundreds of examples. You either watch sports or you don't, I assume you do, so weird stance to take here.

Just admit it, athletes very rarely take 18 months to come back from an ACL. That's a rare situation.

If you're talking about recovery times of regular humans who sit on a couch and eat potato chips on a sports message board and topic of an athlete who will be playing D1 football next year, then yea...I'm the lame one I guess. You're right.
People can come back at 9-12 months but are rarely at 100%. Arroyo is exhibit A.

If you think a HS kid getting injured this Fall is going to be ready to play any meaningful snaps next season for Miami as a Freshman you are fooling yourself.

Brother you do realize you posted a snippet of a 2011 study? That's a decade and a half old at this point.

Pick whatever study you want .... they are all going to show the same thing. 9-12 months to be back for full contact and 18-24 months post surgery to truly be at 100%.

Of course there are exceptions to the rule but this is a dumb discussion and Slime Antoine will 90% be redshirting next season if he in fact had ACL surgery this Fall.

Agree, this injury realistically made him a class of 2026 recruit.

He will flip tho, crazy how Auburn cooking on the trail
Freeze and bags, they not winning but still cooking. Just making sure that’s known cause they say you have to win in order to get these types. And Auburn has looked terrible on the field in year 3

It’s his second year at Auburn. He will need to win in year 3 or 4 or the recruits won’t come. This is the part you fail to just see, and I’m just not sure why, but you need to win for proof of concept or otherwise the wheels fall off.

Even if they lose next year which I am hoping he will clean up. It’s always been his strength regardless, the wheels may fall off in the win and loss column but one thing he was brought in for was recruiting

I'm used to it but at some point someone gotta say something lol I mean too many unknown variables for all these absolute statements being made
I don't think it's going to get any more clear tbh. Gaby said he saw him in a knee brace at the FSU game, said it was a serious injury which is usually Mario code for ACL, D Money straight up said it was an ACL on a podcast last week. I just highly doubt it's going to get more clear then that unless we can get Susan out of retirement.

Even if all that is accurate the FSU game was over 1 month ago and if the surgery happened then he's practically 1 year out from surgery once next season starts. He'll be available to play sometime next year based on this time-line.

I don't think anyone is arguing if he will be able to play next season more so how effective he will be after recovery. I personally think he will play in garbage time but not enough to burn a redshirt.

Oh yea bags and relationships is the only factor here. Same thing going on with Michigan how they are getting players too
