Assuming this is all true, which I am VERY doubtful of (especially since all the messaging the whole time was that Hanks and Pickett were our top recruits on the board and that we passed a bunch of other safeties up because we loved Stubbs)…you’re asking us to believe the staff’s entire plan was to take Antoine with a bum acl, Ewald who has high jag potential, the Columbus kid who can’t tackle and Amari with a compound fracture. Which, if true, should lead to the burning down of the Hecht.

Pickett and hanks were at the top. Stubbs went and got a crazy offer from uf and came back and asked us to match it and we didnt.
Slime scares me with an ACL but LSU and others tried to snatch him last minute. I dont know what to think about Edwald @gogeta4 and others like him. My personal belief is Bryce could wind up at WR. Amari im writing off. Honestly, Guidry was bad an all of this including evaluating and recruiting. Notice all the kids who had dad's that were coaches or former players didnt want their kids to commit to him. he def set us back. Mario has to fix it. its on him for the bad hire.
 
Who are the clowns over at "State of the U"? One of their guy's just wrote an article about the different types of "Miami Fans". I wonder of he pulled from this site. I check over there once in a while and it's always the same stuff.

I'm not. I don't think it would happen. I'm just pointing out that before he enrolls, the proper procedure would be to get a release, and not to "enter the Portal a second time".

I think this ship has sailed (and wrecked, given the status of Oklahoma's Portal class).

We'd have a better chance at landing Mateer in December of 2025 after Venables is fired.

Brother, I’m a Mario fan but you are reaching. Staff’s whisperers went from Top 3 to Top 5 to Top 10 to Top 10 average ranking all in a couple of months. Mostly due to poor close with the DBs, but there are other major holes in the class. So now Mario has to put in extra work in the portal to make up for it. Which he is doing. But let’s not kid ourselves into thinking he didn’t have a really really bad December.
