CB Brandon Harris cut by Texans

Surprised he was drafted so high. He made very few plays at UM and was absolutely torched in his final game.

That said, wish him all the best.

Floyd ate him alive and basically our whole team. That was most certainly a preview of things to come for him.

smh yall are crazy...... harris was good at miami. hopefully he will catch on somewhere. And he is in the cane family so watch what you say about him

Oh yeah... 5 star #3 cb...we had him and the #1 cb 5 stat Patrick Johnson (Now Petersen)....we held onto Harris... that went well.

He over achieved if u ask me. Doesn't have one ultra attribute to his game. He isn't big, not super fast, and doesn't have crazy instincts.

Hope he gets one more chance because that's all he's gonna get.

He's got safety speed, but not the size. Pretty much a tweener in the NFL so unfortunately, that'll equal a short career. He's a major overachiever, you nailed that one, but a lot of that is his own doing. If our current team worked as hard as he does, we'd have a MNC on lock.

Safety speed? Wasn't Harris a track star like his brother?

That year also had Janoris Jenkins, who a lot of people thought should've been ranked ahead of Harris. He wasn't the smartest guy off the field, but him and Johnson/Peterson were some badass corners.

Was very solid here at UM. How many players Shannon coached as HC have done anything in the NFL?

It's been said and examined many times but here's another example.

Allen Bailey
Travis Benjamin
Orlando Franklin
Jason Fox
Olivier Vernon
Colin McCarthy (when healthy)
Lamar Miller
Mike James

no pro bowler talent but these are all starters or at least contributors for their respective teams.

Well there's that guy Jimmy Graham ...

LMFAO. We still have cats here who think randy developed talent. Look at the number of pitiful NFL failures the man pumped out, not the once a generation 6'8 freak talent with a HOF QB and head coach. For every Jimy Graham, and he's the only success story, there are two dozen abject failures. The mans incompetence probably ruined most of those kids lives; under a real coach I have no doubt many more would be makin NFL squads, not getting cut from them

Franklin is solid, McCarthy good, and the rest are JAGS. Never seen so many highly rated HS kids fail in the League.
