Houston Texans cut 2011 second round pick CB Brandon Harris....Harris, who played his college football at the University of Miami, is a talented enough athlete that some team may decide to give him a second chance in the NFL.

Hope he catches on with another team...figured the New Head Coach Bill O Brien would start cleaning house of players he didn't draft... Best of luck to coach Ice's son

WTF

Same thing I said... He's a pretty good nickel corner

Actually he's not. He hasn't been any good since he entered the league. Houston doesn't exactly have a great amount of talent at CB. I've talked to Houston fans numerous times about Harris and everyone has said he just never was any good.

Did not look good this preseason.
Hope he gets another shot, but probably will have a DVD type career.. Hopefully he saves his money and gets into his passion.

Right the texans are blind and just cut an all pro.

you don't want to lose your job, be better than a pretty good nickel corner on a limited roster

He's always been very limited physically. Made up for it to an extent at the college level with smarts. But I never understood the hype around him.

He should thank the UM draft machine for getting him drafted so high. Hopefully, he catches on somewhere and can cash some more big checks before coaching HS ball.

Was very solid here at UM. How many players Shannon coached as HC have done anything in the NFL?

It's been said and examined many times but here's another example.

He over achieved if u ask me. Doesn't have one ultra attribute to his game. He isn't big, not super fast, and doesn't have crazy instincts.

Hope he gets one more chance because that's all he's gonna get.

He's got safety speed, but not the size. Pretty much a tweener in the NFL so unfortunately, that'll equal a short career. He's a major overachiever, you nailed that one, but a lot of that is his own doing. If our current team worked as hard as he does, we'd have a MNC on lock.

He had the best combine for a db I ever seen beside Patrick Peterson. He really struggled in the NFL though. Pretty sure he will he be a traveler
