So here we go gassing up blades lol

Blades ain't on 4* Jaden Davis level so no way in **** he is a 5* talent. Yeah he has tools but as of right now he is a very good 7 on 7 player and a decent football player in pads...

Just happy the kid is a Cane. 5* or 4* don't really give a ****, kid has a high compete level and athleticism so hopefully we can refine his technique and make a player out of him,

One of the reasons most fans were up in arms over the AH CB's is because we're thin at the position and either of those two come in and start Day 1. Blades is more of a project to me, but the skill set and athleticism is there. Rumph has taken a beating over his misses on the trail, and deservedly so, but under his tutelage, Blades has a chance to be special.

IIRC, @UknowWhat mentioned that during the first Paradise Camp, when he was a JR, Blades was rallying the rest of the DB's during one-on-ones against WR's. He was alpha dog amongst some of the top players in the country that were at the camp. One thing nobody should be concerned with is him taking some sort of Kevin Olsen route at UM. He's going to work hard and he'll set a great example for his teammates.

Blades is the #8 CB in the country. The people on this site didn't make him that way, people who do this for living did. He was offered by Alabama, Georgia and a host of other D1 schools and he stayed true. Show some respect.

Had we never been in the conversation for the AH cb's people would be far more optimistic about Blades. But against the back drop of losing higher rated cb's (#1 and #2) to the champion and runner up somehow Blades is just pretty good now??? GTFOH!!

Blades has talent and 5* attitude. Kid went to Tally and stuck it to them on their 50 yard line while on his visit. Bully’s WRs, shoves guys into the dirt and let’s em know about it...and he bleeds orange and green

Blades plays with the right technique....only problem is covering the deep ball....if he works on top end speed he could be elite.... those who compare him to his hs teammates... .davis and samuels are nickel corners at the next level....Blades is definitely a better college prospect on the outside than either of them....IMO.

I went to a few St Thomas games last year. An Blades handled himself well. Is he some type of world beater. No. But he is a player that can have a huge upside with the right coaching and development.

Maybe, maybe not, you remember this board gushing over Olsen breaking down play after play on an eraser board? It was actually very impressive and most had Olsen as a focused student of the game. So before we say no way anybody goes the Olsen route, remember nobody on here saw Olsen going that route himself.

Only Miami fans would rip on a great prospect , and a legacy kid at that.

The greatest cover guy ever thinks he's the goods but " Miami fans" aren't sold.

Blades would be highly ranked no matter what his last name is.

Gtfoh.

Even with the late signing day misses at CB we still have an ELITE class. Blades Jr should be a 5 star and Frierson/Hall is 100% Milami swag at the core. Don't let late signing day dissapointment misses change the fact that AL Blades gonna lock down every top WR in th country. No attention means a job well done for a DB.
When you clean up in December these days it will most likely be a dissapointing Febuary. UGA was the one exception this year but even Bama had a bad signing day for them.
