Even with the late signing day misses at CB we still have an ELITE class. Blades Jr should be a 5 star and Frierson/Hall is 100% Milami swag at the core. Don't let late signing day dissapointment misses change the fact that AL Blades gonna lock down every top WR in th country. No attention means a job well done for a DB.

To be 100% honest, if his last name wasn’t Blades would everyone still be pumped about getting a second string CB from STA? I doubt it.

Dalvin Cook was Yearbys backup. not saying blades is that but his name means alot around these parts and every other blades delivered here.
Rumph turned Michael Jackson into one of hte most productive cb's in the country, im sure he will be able to develop blades.

This kid has upside and it's noticeable, so noticeable that just based mostly off that alone he was a solid 4* ... I'm looking forward to this class, as we all know every year multiple 4* kids outshine their 5* competition ... what's nice to know is we already have our enforcer style player in the secondary in Hall, to me that's important to have with the style of swag we want back there BIG HITS !!! set the tone early n often !! GF n Ivey are guys that lots of schools would love to have, I think we got some solid secondary players coming in

Everyone still trippin over him not starting obviously ain't that familiar with St.Thomas. They loaded at db and they all play.

Blades isn't getting all this recognition because of his name. He started in the UA game because he is a player. And they didn't throw his way for a reason. I agree with those saying he shouldn't be considered a 5-star recruit, but that doesn't mean he isn't an elite CB prospect.

I see him as an excellent prospect as that new wave safety-corner hybrid player that the NFL loves. They usually play the nickel because teams love how aggressive they can be in the run game as it can add one more to the box. That isn't a "starter" by any definition, but it is a player that in college likely plays 60% of the snaps.

I'm not sure that player will qualify as a 5* type...but 4*, sure. Then again, Jabrill Peppers was a 5* kid and ultimately, that was his best projection, despite playing all over at Michigan because they needed him at certain spots and the Browns, who play him as a high safety for lord knows what reason.
