No. On average, the star system is accurate. But there are tons of exceptions both ways (kids overrated and underrated).

Looks like a solid high 3 star/possible low 4 star. It’s a good take by the staff when you need 4 LB and coming off a 7 win season. We aren’t I position to grab 4 5 stars in this class. We have 3 solid guys and need to add 1 elite guy to close this class.

Really think regardless who we land...This the one position that we hit the portal for next year.

His production is excellent, his measurables are strong (4.7 forty and 4.5 shuttle), and his film shows instinct/violence

Truly don’t know why he’s not ranked higher. Flagg and Mathis should be high 3 stars, but this kid is a solid 4 star prospect

He reminds me of Pickney coming out of HS, who was also a 3 star in the ratings (Rivals). Both were/are underrated

Mo 'Better' Crum never made the league, but to me, he's one of the most best and most productive OLB's we've ever had. All American and 3 year starter

I don’t see the comparison. Pinckney was a missile and explosive. This kid is good and makes tackles but I don’t see the explosion to the ball.

Agree with him not being as explosive, but more so Tirek being the playmaker on the defensive side of the ball (similar to Pickney)

The stars system is not
“ very accurate” It’s like the NFL draft the first 15 picks is usually pretty easy. The star system has some validity too it but it’s leaves out a lot of kids who should be rated higher and some who should be rated lower. I played 1 year of high school football and got drafted and started in the league. Don’t tell me how star system is accurate because it’s not all that accurate. Look at the kid Tolliver from LSU who never got drafted and all the 5 stars from Florida state who didn’t get drafted. You must work for one these recruiting companies. Those companies making money off these high school kids. Honestly I’m glad y’all do cause I love it. But very accurate is not true and I can break it down with my own research and own facts. I know they had me rated as a one star in high school, but when I started as a credsgirt freshman, I’d literally choke the **** out of one of them Tennessee or gator receivers for trying to stunt on me after they catch a ball.
