Isn't that Griffin? Except Griffin seems a little more athletic (that leaping ability is pretty darn good. If we get Griffin in this class, I think that is a pretty athletic WR.

Griffin isnt as sudden.

He's not running the slants, ins, etc. Griffin is a red zone, middle of the field deep threat.

Lane is a bigger Allen Hurns RIGHT NOW. Lane is about the same height and weighs more than Hurns as a sr in high school. If you watched the Camp in Oregon..dude was basically unguardable when he put a a guy on his back or in the redzone.

I have no doubt Lane would be productive wherever he commits. Griffin is my guy...could be a Mike Evans (Tx A&M TYPE) Lane is more like Kelvin Benjamin. If u dont understand the difference..Benjamin is wayy more sudden in his movements..which is why i didnt see a te prospect with him just a big wr. Benjamin can get in and out of breaks...i dont think Evans can all that much but he is a mismatch in the nine route and has long speed...same i see with Griffin.

Guys are just downplaying Lane because he likely isnt coming here...........Dude is foreal...i saw the same thing with other recruits before down to our own Stacey Coley who got the Lane treatment early on when he was a UF/FSU lean. And i made similar post about him at the time...we dont have a current wr committed as good as Lane guys can believe what they want. Langham isnt Lane, and doesnt play near the comp that Lane goes against.

Sorry I just saw this. I totally get what you are saying and respect your opinion big man.

I am not down playing Lane. I just am not getting worked up. I think it would be nice to get him but I am not going crazy because we have very good compliments and WRs coming in and that is without Dixon.

Let me put it a different way. Look at Valentine (DT), another local stud recruit. Maybe the best DT in Florida this year? I would get more worked up about him not coming here because we don't have similar compliments and enough high quality DTs coming in the class.

So Lane can be better than Langham and Griffin, he could even be the best in Florida this year at WR. I think we're in good shape without him at WR. It has nothing to do with us not getting him but just that we have a good thing going at the position.

don't really care where he ends, I'm happy w a receiving class of langham, griffin, berrios, brady, and hopefully dixon. (i know I'm missing one or two but i can't name em off the top of my head)

The reason you got after Lane too is because Muschamp was a huge negative recruiting. My friend coached kids who he neg recruited with the NCAA stuff. It's payback. In the words of Coach Golden, "Get your licks in now." The playing field is even, time for war. f$#k the Gators, maybe one day the can win an NC without any loses.

I all for going after the people that neg recruited us. You do this and save yourself from down the road them doing the same thing. They kicked us when we were down, now we **** on them when they are down
