He is claiming on CI that he has confirmed with "multiple sources" that Rashard was on a fishing trip with his father this weekend and that they both assured LSU coaches they would not be on Miami's campus.

John Bastian is such a ******* ******, it's painful. But make no mistake, Jamal Carter will exact his vengeance upon Bastian for calling him a liar. I don't know when, I don't know where, but somewhere in a dark, sunless place, Jon Bastian will find himself alone with Jamal Carter, and vindication will be had.

As a side note, I have somehow procured permission to the insider board on CI, and the kind of "insider" information that gets passed along on that board is utterly comical. I don't know how kosher it is to post or paraphrase info from "insider" boards, but there are some real gems on there. Although, usually it's just stuff they stole from Pete who posted it 24 hours earlier.

CaneInsider has become arrogant and douchy, the insider board is a joke. The Rashard Robinson **** is stupid, why would recruits say he was there if he wasn't? Let that girl sounding ***** eat his own **** when he realizes he was here.

Allow me to expound further: Fatstian claims that Robinson was only hanging out with some friends after the fishing trip doing "non-visit related activities." Again, Fatstian is clear that he was "only hanging out with friends" very late at night and that no campus tours had taken place.

Boys, you'll have to forgive me, I don't live in South Florida anymore. But if memory serves me well, it's a long drive back and forth between Coral Gables and Pompano Beach just to hang out with friends after a fishing trip...

I'm the one who asked him about it , I was like if the Lsu " sources " you have are so sure he's all Tiger then why does he continue to play footsies under the table with Al? That's when he came back with the " article ".

I have nothing against Jon and really like that site but it does come off as its personal with him, his sources versus other people sources. Nothing wrong with saying " maybe my sources are a little too confident". It could possibly be closer than what we originally thought.

Jon breaks a lot of legit info and is really good at his job but I disagree on this one.

Now I'll let everyone get back to the " Jon likes ******** jokes". Lol
