Basically Carter was saying that he struggled to absorb the defense as a freshman. The reads and calls that the safety's must make were too confusing to him at first.

He started figuring things out during the bowl game practices and now he says he is ready to fvck some nijjaz up!

I think so.

Ray-Ray and VT showed some flashes and Deon was playing well late in his freshman year, but none of them were great over an entire season.

ray ray showed 1 flash....vt had one tackle that showed a lil something, but overall....naaaaah....the comparison to ed reed that shannon gave him was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay off

D'Onofrio has stated that he thinks Safety is the hardest position to learn on the D. He will make an impact, but it will be on special teams.
