Carson Beck sustained a UCL injury on Saturday

So now the committee is evaluating backup QBs.

Come on....you, we and everyone else all know the real reason.
As mentioned multiple times, the 4 team playoff committee had an out. It was explicitly listed in their criteria that a major injury could be reason to keep a team out of that playoff. And thank God they had that criteria because instead of 2 one possession semifinals, we would have had to endure a 30 point FSU blowout (at least I give them more credit than the 60 they lost to Georgia by in the OB).

No such criteria this year. Plus, this year, top 5 ranked conference winners get in. If it had happened this year, FSU would have been in the playoff.

A lot of **** FSU fans on this board.

The real bias coming into play is SEC/B1G wins and losses being graded differently than other P4 conference wins and losses when it comes to the selection of at-large bids. If Clemson had not won, Bama would have been in there, no doubt.

I’m near Cleveland (North Royalton). Huge Browns fan, so I don’t want them to draft Ward (they’ll ruin him) or Beck (he blows)
I know it's blasphemous as a Cane fan, but I have my own questions about Ward on the next level. I think he's great on the college level, but a lot of stuff he gets away with in college just won't go in the pros. I hope he proves me wrong.

The committee got the chance to see FSUs offense without Travis for several games. Both their QBs were dog**** in those games. UGA got an AQ and the only shot they had of not getting a bye was SMU beating Clemson. They were not putting a 3 loss Clemson over UGA. Maybe you can argue they should have been the 3 seed if Beck was going to be out.

You appear to believe there is some legitimacy here.

The committee decides what they want, then finds a rationale to support that decision. Even if it contradicts what they said the week or year before.

They did not want FSU in. They did not want Miami in. Everything else is pure BS.

Stop making sense.

You are your porsts lately.

Unacceptably filled with logic.

Called it.

He immediately grabbed at his elbow - the torque on his arm mid-throwing motion was too much. Dude is cooked.
