I hope that Emory Williams is our QB. He is a winner. He won the game against Clemson last year, he had undefeated FSU in his sights before the tragic ending with TVD doing what TVD was notorious for. I hope Cam wins out but I'm not thrilled we are depending so much on one player. I think Emory will use all the tools in the shed. So far this year Emory has complete 91.7 percent of his passes, has a 231.9 rating. I know with not very many attempts but from practice to games he is accurate.


We have a plethora of RB’s; we have Receivers that CATCH the ball (remember all the drops the last few years) plus our defense HAS TO IMPROVE via talent or coach swap. The biggest miss will be X, he is amazing and I hope we win at least the ACC so he can walk out a champion.

In evaluating what Mario has done it seems he has recruited a team that can dominate running the ball yet Cam has altered that with his tremendous skills. Think about Michigan's run last year and they won running the ball plus a decent passing attack, I thought that was where we were headed until Cam showed up. I take my hat off to Cam and let’s see how far he takes us, I'm excited about next year too, we should be well rounded in every aspect of the game.

Yea, for better or worse Mario handed the keys to Cam and I can understand why. We've been winning with inconsistent execution and some poor coaching, but let's hope everything comes together at the end.
 
cam can play above the defensive corching
will emory be able to do that
Michigan was elite on defense
unless we portal in a whole secondary i doubt we will have an elite defense next year

Hope you are right, I like Emory. Just not sure his name will move the needle with transfers and recruits. Look at UF with Lagway they got motion with recruits even though they are mid af, they can sell the idea of him being good. Plus he has the 5star cache Emory does not. Hoping he takes the next step in his development but no one of would be shocked if we got another transfer QB for next year.

Emory reminds me of Steve Walsh. When Vinny left and Steve was the QB few thought Steve was worthy. Steve and Emory are accurate passers making all the routine plays and rarely scrambling unlike Vinny or Cam who leave the pocket often. I love a QB who is accurate, incorporates all his surrounding talent and is consistent in making the plays the defense gives and studies the game. Based on Spring games and how Emory has perforned when in the game he should be our next great QB.
 
Can we just enjoy the rest of this season? Our fans never cease to amaze...always appointing the next recruit or freshman as an All American and better that what he have starting, looking forward to next year when we're ion position to make the ACCCG and the CFP.
