Is Cedrick Wright good to go?
Also when will we land a kid from Heritage
Shawn Davis- we after him hard? If we are, chances?
Tell me about Wiggins, 2018 WR from Southridge. How good is he?

Wright is good to go.

They will land a Heritage kid within the next two classes (Wilson, Campbell, Surtain all possibilities)

They are still on Davis, but grades could be an issue. UF cooling I've heard. Too early to call chances.

Dee Wiggins is great. Premier talent - 4-star talent no doubt in my eyes. Long and smooth with speed.

Any chances on a transfer CB? The Alabama CB transfer not going to happen now or are we still waiting?

Couple questions Pete because I havn't got a straight answer for it yet from who I've talked to.

Is Miami on or recruiting 2018 Oxbridge Academy 4* Safety (Cajuan) CJ Smith? I've been on this kid since he was a freshman and I feel he's the real deal, size, speed, length & ball skills. Alabama already in pursuit of him. Was wondering because I see we have extended offers to two other Palm Beach County safeties in Cameron Jonas from Dwyer in June at one of Richt's Camps & Gurvan Hall from Palm Beach Lakes at Paradise Camp this past weekend. I'm confident Smith is the best of those 3 and I know Miami doesn't shy away from Palm Beach now, are we on him yet?

Is Miami on or recruiting 2018 Miami Edison 4* Safety & LSU Commit Nadab Joseph. I've spoken with his 7on7 coach (Drummond) and he feels hes gonna continue to blow up. Both you and I have mentioned him but im curious to hear if Miami has had any contact yet.

Will 2018 McArthur WR/S 4* Dominick Watt receive an offer in the near future? I spoke with his coach a while back and Richt son came by to see him a couple times at his school. They have invited him to the camps in June and also to Paradise. Richt son asked for his transcripts. Could it be a grades issue holding Miami back? I've seen him play multiple times at camps, good prospect.

Not sure on the 2018 kids yet. Too far off to tell. The staff is really focused on 2017 right now. I'll look into it.

There is no update with Maurice Smith right now. I thought he had graduated but was told two nights ago that he is graduating the first week of August. Nothing can happen until he does so. Alabama can't block him from coming to Miami and the staff still believes that he will land here.

A few questions..

1) Seems like local recruits are "cooling" on FSU right now. (at least the 2017 and 2018 classes) Is there a buzz out there that FSUs run is coming to an end and kids arent as enamored with them anymore or has FSU not really done full evaluations down here yet.

2) Seems like there will be a logjam in the secondary soon. If we bring in 4 corners and 2 safeties this year. (Henderson/Bandy/Dallas/Edwards/Carter/Wilson) Who are the 4 corners and 2 safeties you think we go after first and foremost next year knowing that the 2018 class is littered with DB talent?

3) Paradise Camp got alot of recruits attention. Give me your honest opinion from what you have heard from elite recruits regarding what our record needs to be in order to really start reeling these guys in AND is beating FSU a must in most of their eyes regarding us officially being "back".

Pete whats up with marco? That stampini dude said people he has talked too believe he going to uf but said miami is the biggest comp for him. You hearing that?

247 is saying too that smith will pick bama next month and bama is the far away leader for juedy. So will the staff make a push for holliman out of ga?

I'd say Marco is 55-45 UF but Miami is definitely right there. It's just always tough to beat family.

And yes, Bama leads for Smith. I expect him to end up there. Judy will be a battle until the end. I wouldn't Bama them the "far away leader"

They like Holloman a lot but not sure if that interest is the same from his view.

I wouldn't say that local kids are "cooling" on FSU. The Noles are still very much a threat down here. The difference is that Miami is a legit recruiting organization now who can go head-to-head with the Noles. The previous staff was a deer in headlights against them.

I think Surtain, Blades, DJ Ivey, Gilbert Frierson, Jobe and Campbell are their top guys for next year.

10 wins is what they need.
