Watch the Notre Dame game again and see if you still think that. Their entire offensive gameplan was centered around exploiting Shayon Green... and it resulted in 350 rushing yards. If we had a tougher DE the game would have looked different. The DT's didn't have nearly as much to do with the loss.
I wasn't really thinking too much about an example of a player - but you get what my point is.
I've always been of a mindset that your defense starts with your DTs. You have strong DTs, and you can have average DEs. Not necessarily the other way around.
I'm super thrilled about Bryant and Bostwick. Need one more stud in there and it's an A+ class, especially to complement Ivery and Moore. With DE, however, you have a bunch of JAGS on the roster, even though I'm hoping Ricky Williams can be a surprise for us.
