Our outside zone runs are creating huge gains in the running game...normally I hate that approach to the run game but what I saw in the first half gt didn't have an answer for it. Need to dial that up a lot in this second half. Stay ahead of the chains and keeps the play action rollout in play which has been kaaya's bread and butter...

Coley has called a decent game so far. Bad read by Kaaya, but other wise the O has looked good. The d needs to play better disciplined and closer to the line... force them to pass, have to get them off schedule and long 2nd and 3rd downs.

I like Golden as a person, decent recruiter, and off the field organization. However, I have lost faith in him as a coach tonight. I was not happy he kept Swasey on at the beginning and this team still looks physically weak. In addition, we continue in year 4 to play passive and not to lose with an experienced team. Golden is good for occasional 10 win season, but we are not winning a championship with him coaching. Very disappointing.

This was pretty much my thought as well. Probably figured if we got it he'd look like he had balls and if we didn't he'd blame our loss (if we lose) on the offense not executing a call he made and putting the defense in bad situations... blah blah... same **** different day, month, season...
