Canes vs VT Game Three Bring out your brooms!

This next two weeks will be Morris' Waterloo. FAU, UCF midweeks, and a series against a UVA team that PWNS Morris so bad you'd think it was London v Golden. Then Free Shoes, which every Shalala/James slurper here will tell you how close we were to sweeping FSU, and if f not for losing three games to them, we would have.

No neeed to wait for the regional Oh and TWO and BBQ. This team's fate will be decided in the next 12 days.

Dude, I swear, you've got to be the most negative "fan" ever. Hitting the "i" button. Nice knowing you.

It's so much better. Our baseball fans are seriously more miserable than our football fans.

This team is really, really good. Omaha or not, Morris has done a great job with this group.

Smokey aka Bart Allen is a miserable person, doesn't matter what the sport is. Deandre Burnett's mother asked him on Facebook if he was a Canes fan because of his ridiculous negativity.

The attitude is horrible but let's just hold off on crowning Morris before saying he's done a great job with the most talented team in the conference and saying that Omaha isn't the expectation for them. He has managed much better this season than in recent years.

Doing a "great job" in the regular season is one thing. Giving yourself a shot to win a national title by getting to Omaha is another. Guess which one, historically, that Miami baseball has been measured on? It sure as **** ain't the former.

I'm happy that we're on a bit of a winning streak here--just as I was with last year's streak. However--it will mean exactly "squat" if we don't make it to Omaha.

If you disagree with that, then your priorities for what the expectations for Miami's baseball program should be are majorly out of kilter.

Some people are negative. Smokey is one of them. Frankly i find him to be a huge pain in the *** on the football board mixed in with all the schtick and trolling. BUT. On this board, despite his negativity, he actually pays attention to the baseball and basketball teams and isn't a run to the board to stir **** up poster like others.

As to Morris --- errors, baserunning and bad baseball bother me. Whether or not the team gets to Omaha usually depends on those types of things in crunch time.

Having done a great job with the current squad and getting to Omaha are two different things and can be judged accordingly.

About some of the constant errors, i watch a lot of college baseball, i see way too many error in college baseball in general, this stuff doesnt just happen to us, i see so many guys in college whiff on balls that high schoolers can make, im just speaking in general
