That's not saying much. The problem is WHY they had to throw it that often. It was because the run game was utterly putrid. You can't win consistently, especially the way Mario and Gattis want to play, if you can't at least have a competent run game.

I don't disagree but in the short term the run game is not going to be fixed to any serious degree. Need to adjust the scheme to fit the players or we're going to get more MTSU performances

And this is why Mario doesn’t get a pass for this disaster. He came in and said he would run schemes that played to the current rosters strength. HE LIED. He wasted the first 5 weeks trying to be a big 10 power run team knowing full well this team wasn’t capable of that.

That’s what ****es me off. He lied to us all. We could easily be 5-0. And maybe we aren’t ready to win the ACC but man what a great first step it would’ve been to change the narrative around us by going 10-2/11-1 and plying the ACCCG. THATS HOW YOU BUILD. ONE MILESTONE AT A TIME.
