Coaching is a lot like teaching. There are really two parts to it, teaching and learning. Each teacher has a a differential ability to teach and every learner has a differential ability to learn. The learning process is quantified fairly well in education and not at all in coaching/athletics. I think one of Miami's biggest problems has been having coaches that are coaching beyond the amount of information that the players can intake and transfer to the field. This causes the repeated friction between the coaches and players (and fanbase for that matter).

If you put Iowa or Wake Forest's staff here, you will get the same results we have seen for the past ~20 years.
