UM players sometimes appear to get sucked into the hype, maybe thinking they have the swag of 35 years ago. One play in the 1st quarter stands out. Williams layed out the RB with a massive hit. He then goes into the UNC end zone to celebrate as if he just won the Super Bowl. He barely got back to the line for the next play, which turned out to be a pass for a 1st down that led to UNC's first TD. After a good play, UM players have to act like they've been there before. They haven't accomplished anything yet. Cut the celebrations until they qualify for a decent bowl and win it. Year after year, it seems as if their discipline and football smarts break down at a critical time.
