Nah...stats can be deceiving...King bailed them out several times and there were a few busts on D that led to long runs. We did not consistently run the ball against a Conf USA opponent albeit a good D.You didn't like running for 300+
thats one way to look at it.This UAB team is better than both if we being real..D gave up 1 drive. D was good on 3rd dwn. We tackled fairly well. D ran to the ball well. Offense didn’t make any mistakes I can recall. Ran the ball well like a triple O team..we got a baby Lamar..on top Louisville
Running backs all looked good. King definitely bailed us out on the pass rush several times but that is why he is so good. That is his game.Nah...stats can be deceiving...King bailed them out several times and there were a few busts on D that led to long runs. Vaya con diosI will probably rewatch the game more than once this weekend. I will be a chore though
Not disputing that yet. It was like a sped up Richt offense, replete with the requisite loud hand clapping behind the line of scrimmage. It seemed 70% of our plays were a fake QB keeper and a HB run directly into the middle of the field.Fair enough, im not giving up on Uptempo Richt yet but that was weak. Lash wants to a HC one day? Maybe in HS with that performance
I supposed I’ll say that. I just want to see a hurricane team that takes the field and handles business without any question. But alot better then central michigan, fiu and la tech.
This game was essentially an extra scrimmage. They should tighten up come FSU week. The Canes had 495 yards of total offense, 337 yards rushing and was 7/17 on third downs in a game where the Canes were rusty and still learning how to play together.
I think we'll know alot more about this team next week. Got a fairly astute opponent out of the way pretty convincingly. Hopefully Cam is ok as we are thin at rb. Game under the belt should help. We played a bit tight but should play looser over time.I supposed I’ll say that. I just want to see a hurricane team that takes the field and handles business without any question.
I agree manI really could go on and on about how bad this program and defensive coaching staff is. But the only thing that needs to be said. Manny as a DC created turnovers. Baker does not. He’s horrendous. I don’t give a flying **** what the stats say if you know the game even remotely you can see his play calling is suspect as ****. We are about to get torched by high octane offenses (Louisville, clemson, unc, etc)
Gently escort yourself back to the bridge, troll.Harris looked good against this competition. But it was UAB. Have they ever beaten a P5 team? I know they've been blown out by Tennessee, A&M, and Florida since starting back up. Miami is supposed to be a top 20 team in talent. 247 has UAB at #96. They don't have a single blue-chip player on their team. I don't think you can take anything away from this game in the running game, because they should run over these 2 and 3 star players. King looks really, really good running the ball, but I do think it's safe to say his 2018 passing stats (since he sucked in 2019 before quitting) were inflated from playing in the AAC.
But ur putting everything on baker when now they're collabing. Last season Manny flat out took over four or five games into the season & gave it back for the bowl game. Manny ain't got a clean slate either.Did manny create a turnover as dc at Miami against everyone g5 and below team? My guess is yes. Could be wrong but based on memory I would say yes. I believe baker has more games without one against that level of comp as compared to creating one.
As we all know. This defense is **** withOut causing turnovers. Manny has to see this right?
@dsddcane you are more plugged in than most. Can you confirm that manny actually took over? Or was it a pr stunt? Even so, diaz created more turnovers as a dc. Also seemed to “get it” a whole lot more than baker. Might just be the talent we had in secondary thoughBut ur putting everything on baker when now they're collabing.
