Canes vs. Texas Tech, Sunday June 1...

6 outs left, best chance in the 8th with Carey and Palmer right away as I don't feel great about Collins facing ths lefty and DT just isn't back up to speed at the plate it would appear

Even after the near fight, no fight and no emotion in this team. We look like a straw man regular season champ.
 
Oh man, it'll be a long offseason for Kennedy if this holds up. A ball to the wall and you're on 2B and don't score.

I still have hope we can get a run home somehow with all of the late game heroics we've seen this season.

It was an embarrassingly bad base running play and 3rd base coaching job.
 
Canes get out of a jam in the bottom of 7.. Still 1-0 TT.. Top of the order coming up for Canes

Coach sent him all the way. You saw it clearly on the replay. I think he heard 3 holding up the kid who was 8 feet behind him afterwards and then stopped. Was bad base running IMO.
 
Carey grounds out for 1st out in 8th.. Now rain starts again and tarps are going back on the field..

Fair enough. I'm not a Morris basher, and the base running was just terrible, but how do you let that happen right in front of you.

Official from NCAA: #Canes and #TexasTech will resume at 2:02 p.m. Monday. If UM wins, winner-take-all game will be played 55 mins after.

The difference between watching us and Louisville is the difference between the minors and the majors. We have too many small dudes on our team. This trend has been going on for too many years now. Louisville has so passed us as a baseball program. Very sad but true.

Did you not see our regional with Louisville last year? We looked small. We have gotten bigger but look at bottom of order!! Took Carey senior year to add any size and he produced much better. Louisville will advance 2 years in a row(they will beat Bama or Kennesaw)!! We will be watching from home 2 years in a row!
 
Thanks to Brian Gabriel, our team will never take an ***-whoopin. But, also thanks to him, we should continue to get stronger/bigger, meaning these guys like Johnny Ruiz and the other Freshmen should only continue to develop physically over the next few years the way that Carey did in one offseason. That's a plus.
