Theres a certain amount of plays and they can be run out of all the formations. That is how the air raid offense works. Whether its Lashlee/Malzahn/Leach/Dykes. So anyone expecting him to be some insane Xs and Os just has the wrong expectations from him. There is a reason why our players were able to get the playbook down hella easily/early. It's not necessarily a bad thing, but if yall think it's just him not showing up with good play designs, you're wrong.

Secondly all yall *****ing about King are just idiots. Obviously dude isn't one of the best passers there is. That was obvious before he transfered. But if yall are stupid enough not to want him to be our QB this year and to return next year, yall should just shut up, have a beer and watch. Seriously, a lot of yall are dumbasses. Dudes a good ******* college Qb, better than anyone we've had in like a decade. And our WRs are absolute garbage, our Oline has improved a lot since last season, but it's not like they are anything more than average at best still (hopefully next year they'll take the next step).

You’re a right for the most part but King struggles to make reads if his first isn’t there. He throws a bad deep ball a lot of them have been uncatchable. He ignores the middle or the field and predetermines his throws. He is struggling right now.

They've been decent. They have let the young QBs get a little conformable tho giving them easy throws playing this soft *** zone where our guys are just standing there covering grass. Other than that no issue with the defense.

Cam about to bust a long one. Love the fact that we are playing young guys. Need a score out of the half. What a difference with Flagg and Brooks in there. They are always around the ball. McCloud has regressed so much

I really question what you guys thought we were getting when we landed Deriq King......he has been doing him all season.

He wasn’t going to step in here and throw 75% and 5000 yards.....that’s not his game.

Then you guys focus on the one great year and miss the other years or even individual games from him.

He’s a great college QB but I think some of you thought we landed Trevor Lawrence or Fields lol.

He is still miles better than other QBs we’ve had. But actually watch football. He’s been a inconsistent QB his entire career as far as passing goes.
 
There has to be something on the middle of the field. There has to be. Screen or seing passes are not going to beat Pitt

If McCloud was on the bench, the D would be better.

Orrrrrrrrrr maybe...just maybe. It’s all three? Just a thought there Einstein. Don’t think too hard on it. We don’t want you to short wire when building those important space ships for NASA.
