It’s possible and probable that this has already been mentioned, but this is a game you cannot lose. “Coming back next week” is something you can do after losing to VT, even losing to GT, which were indeed really bad losses. But lose this game, winning next week will not be good enough to erase this game. Nothing will for the foreseeable future. Forever, at least until we play FIU again (which we aren’t scheduled to do by the way), kids around here and beyond will see The U,’ the great power that once was...

This should be a game for the head coaching job at the University Of Miami, and I'm not even one of those Butch guys. I'm just stating facts. We know he's been forever interested in returning. If he beats us, with ******* conference USA players, why shouldn't he get the job? Diaz could NEVER recover from that. The whole season, his whole tenure, would be a failure. Getting smacked around like this by FLORIDA INTERNATIONAL can't even be called disgraceful without selling it short. Logically, it is astounding.

Diaz's reputation and trust is shot after a loss like this. It's perhaps almost beyond repair already unless he absolutely comes back to dominate it in the last half. As a Miami fan, you absolutely MUST root for this. But as a Miami fan, if that DOESN'T happen, you absolutely must do the right thing and denounce this clown who will only waste several more years here of the kids with astounding talent.

the biggest reason first year coaches have rough years is bc the players are learning new systems.

but we are using the exact same system on defense and are way worse. same as with randy. its a major major red flag.
