We don’t have the players, at least today, compared to Clemson. Clemson’s defense is much better across the board than Miami’s offense. Especially where it counts the most, their DL versus our OL, their CBs versus our WRs.

Lashlee’s failing grade is for not coming up with something to generate meaningful offense. I don’t see Lashlee scheming any favorable matchups. Maybe there aren’t any.

The defense’s showing is about as predicted.
The offense was a disappointment. We got 100% suffocated. The few spots I thought they were vulnerable never really got tested because we got our asses blitzed and never countered. We didn’t win a WR battle, but that wasn’t unexpected. We know what we’ve got there. We weren’t even close to punching with them, which is all I hoped for. Sucks for us.

I’m not even mad at the defense. Minus the penalties I thought the defense did as well as you could have hoped vs
Clemson.
