Crazy idea here, but could these friggin guys have been holding back the playbook the last few weeks, waiting for coastal play? I mean with the playoff thing and the ACCCG really not having any impact on what we did in OOC games, could these guys have been saving some of their better stuff for coastal play?

Granted that is giving these guys a lot of credit that they certainly dont deserve, and it would seem idiotic most ways you look at it, BUT.... Ive seen alignments, adjustments and formations we havent shown all season so far in the first quarter. We are playing TOTALLY different than we have the last few weeks. Where it seemed absolutely UNREAL that these guys just sat in their base last week and refused to adjust, now it looks like a TOTALLY different defense.

Granted Cutcliff can probably coach laps around these guys, and Im sure they will adjust and things can go to **** in a BIG hurry, but so far we held them to 17 yards in the first quarter. This looks NIGHT and DAy different so far. I wonder if these guys werent keeping some of the playbook under wraps thinking that Coastal play and winning the coastal was more important than an OOC game against Nebraska.
