That's the second time UVA didn't get the ball off before the play clock expired. This one was almost a full second after :00.

There’s supposed to be some grace period for delay of games because of the time it takes for the back judge to watch the clock hit 0, and then turn around to see if the ball is snapped.

For example, watch a replay of the UF game. All 3 of Miami’s delay of games weren’t called until at least 3 seconds after the play clock expired.
