So let's just clear up. This is the third WORST defense we have fielded since the turn of the century. How the **** are people defending this crap?

Spot on.....and when they finally play a decent opponent and get blasted....they deflect to “its still a successful season,” “we are a couple years away anyway.” The last 15 years has lowered the threshold of success, among the fan base, and mediocrity is now accepted.

LMFAO conveniently now we have the "yards dont matter" excuse which is EXACTLY what D'Onofrio and Golden said and were deservedly mocked for.

There has not been ONE national champion winner in the last 20 years who didnt field a top ten total defense. Stop looking for excuses to prop up a bad DC.

If he was 30 yards ahead and the DB finished only 5 yards behind him then what does that say?

Now of course you're exaggerating but anybody who's not a fanboy can easily see that Thomas' speed is overrated and his route-running is underrated.

He's a good receiver.

NEW OFFENSIVE COORDINATOR

Calling for a new offensive coordinator…will you stop it!!! Anyone that makes that call has zero idea as to what they are watching.

The problem Miami’s offense has is there is absolutely no push by the offensive line, thus the offense is one dimensional that allows most any competent defensive coordinator to create havoc. Thus, you could have God as the Canes offensive coordinator and they are still going to have problems moving the ball.

The reality is, based on the lack of any running game, Mark Richt has done a remarkable job this season. Before the haters start howling, yes, Richt is doing everything possible to create said running game.

Fix the offensive line/running game and the Canes instantly become a final 4 candidate.

No he hasn't. How about stop running only shotgun?

we are playing down to our competition.... Rosier is playing horrible, not making his reads.

Personally, when I see a qb out of sync, I go back to bread and butter- run with a lead blocker. Take pressure off him.

That's normally a good plan, but our Oline is not playing well. No push up front and no real lead blocker.

Wouldn't be the worse idea though.
