I think I’ve seen us throw more passes over the middle than the whole rest of the year.Dont know why we seemed to go away from Herndon but we need to start going back to him...they can’t cover him..

I don't know who to blame for the offense right now because it **** sure ain't the play calling. So many drops. The fact we're only up 10 and forced 4 turnovers is just terrible. We should be up 28-3.

Take sways from the 1st half:

-Michael Jackson's a smooth criminal
-Richt continues to botch play calls
-Our back up S have an uncanny knack for blowing coverage
-Field sucks and it's affecting Cuse's "high octane" (I laughed) offense
-We're 3 drops away from being up at least 20.
-Richards is just off, he'll be fine
-Annnnnnnnnnnnnd, Dino Babers hair line truly sucks.

What play calls has Richt "botched"?

u know what; I'm re-watching the game during half time, fast forwarding to our possessions, and besides that last drive (which I felt our 3rd down call should've been utilized on 1st), he's called a pretty sound game. Drops have been a far bigger issue. I recant

I think the talent differential in this game is such that your or I could call plays and still have UM up by 10 at the half. lol

But I do agree w/you, there are only two key items in the first half.

1). The dropped passes

2). Manny being Manny on that 3rd and 25 call.

The thing that kills us is the same thing that killed the Falcons in SB. We don't have a power run game. We have a good rb, but it's zone reads and not smash mouth. Just not designed for short yardage. Drops happen every game (especially with conditions as bad as they are) but really hurts not to have a power run game.
