I don't know. It's an engineering school in an Appalachian backwater. I think they overachieved for a long time. Part of it was having a generational QB, then the rest of it was having one of the best DCs in the game for many years. They're lost without those two.

You're probably right and I probably shouldn't care I'm just nostalgic about the old Big East rivalries. There's something nostalgic about going into Blacksburg with enter sandman roaring. Not crying a river over them struggling but we had some fun games with them (2005 game for some reason pops into my head)
