I dont think Young knows how to turn his head

Dude that's because turning your head is exactly what you're not supposed to do. His technique is perfect.

Yea when you are beat. When you are stride for stride you read the WR. When his head turns so does yours....A lot of these plays are boarderline pi because he won't turn his head....

Everybody gettin on Young needs to realize he's playing Press Coverage perfect.

He's not truning his head around because he would lose track of his man, he'll get his head around when he needs to.

He's clearly our best CB on the team right now, cut the boy some slack.

YES thank you! Our DBs have better technique than a lot of NFL teams. Rumph is a great coach and these guys play fundamentally sound. Have to stay in phase and punch the pocket. You look you're lost.

Could we get a couple of quick screens to Ahmmon and Braxton please?

I figured Walton may be hurting with all the pass plays, why not put in homer f this is the case

The first time we give them a different look on offense we find success on the ground. Richt gotta mix it up

Young and Bandy are the only reliable guys we have in coverage

Our corners don't know when to turn. When you're in the WR's hip pocket and he's clearly 20 yards downfield, you turn for when ball.

Except you don't. No one coaches that technique anymore. That's what gets you beat.

False.

It's about knowing when to turn. If you're in their pocket and you can cut them off, you turn and become the WR. If you're truly trailing, you don't turn....and you play through their hands.

In the passing game, Berrios should be the foundation in the slot, IMO. Get him going with quick stuff with stuff like bubble screens, etc. A lot of teams take this approach in lieu of a real good running game...

The best most confident corners can do that and usually get away with it. But it's dangerous to coach that technique because if you turn your head even when you're in phase you can give up that sliver of separation that gives away leverage. I'm 100% certain our DBs are coached to play exactly the way everyone is complaining about.

It's not PI if you execute but I get the concern.
