That's how he rolls on D. He's all about those zone blitzes.

He also clearly doesn't trust the back 4 AT ALL so he's looking for instant pressure - can't get that by just rushing 4.

We 2 1/2 games in now, wtf is wrong with this defense. Diaz go to the booth so you can see the whole field and whats going on as the play develops. Dam, you will get your tv time if you're successful

I'll take 6 points at the half any day but can someone explain to me why we give up so many yards on D and can't hold them on 3rd down? I'm not X's and O's savvy so I'm legit curious.

Defense played well in the first half. IDK what yall are talking about.
Still see the BS of playing backup LBs too often, and not matching the CBs to WRs including covering the slot. And Diaz still running too many crazy blitzes instead of just trusting our DL to get pressure. But they've played well thus far.

Donaldson is getting pretty worked in the first half by #99 , but thats a 5th yr senior vs 18 yr old true fresh. He has growing to do.

The uncovering of the slot is unusual but considering the score and situation, I am ok with D so far. The pass rush is not very good though from the front 4, BUT the qb is hitting these quick throws to take the D-line out of the equation.

Very good game by redwine so far. HE has to have 6 tackles in the first half and a few passes defended.

Need to score on first drive of 2nd half.

Literally you guys are complaining about the defense when we just held them to 6 points. What more do you want?

Whether it be offense or defense if one imperfection occurs you guys freak out.

Better tackling.... Covering the slot and no that that doesn't mean a safety 12 yards deep....disguise blitzes a lot better.... not running base defense **** near every play.... better alignments.... Just to name a few things

I look at this years team and I think we are about a year away, just hafta let some young guys at Oline develop and the infusion of talent at DB. But this is gonna be a fun team, regardless. I like their effort tonight. Tackling in space is much better
