never sure with Mario and injuries, Bain and Rivers are doing great and are this close....... do not believe anything CMC says about injuries

Gotta get it done for 60 but the defense was better in the 2nd half, as usual

First half went:

TD after turnover on a short field
INT
Punt

FG

24 points on 6 drives, 4 points per drive

2nd half:

FG
Downs (fake FG)

Downs

10 points on 5 drives, 2 points per drive.

Neither are very good, but 4 is awful. They tightened up a little better in the 2nd half. Overall definitely not good, just saying. As usual Guidry did hold the rope a little better after the half.

that's a weird take. Every team has issues. Turnovers led to this. If Ward makes careless plays, then sure, we'll continue to be in trouble. But the defense was on the field much longer than they shouldve been because of turnovers. And, this is a team that likes to run the ball down your throat. 2 back-to-back weeks of dual threat QBs while down a couple key players is no joke. With Cam taking care of the ball, definitely a Top 10 team.

Played great first 4 games. Did not tonight. It’s 1 game. Get back to work and we good. We needed a game like this. No need to ***** and moan all night after a win.

I agree but I’m hoping we fix most of it. It’s on the coaches to self evaluate themselves after this game and really get after the players a**es next week. They need to start tomorrow.

Not a perfect team by any stretch of imagination and we probably won't run the table.
I think most of us understand this reality, but it shouldn't diminish enjoyment over a W.
Enjoy the W.

Some people buy into the bull**** and become devastated when we have nights like this. Others saw this coming and are relieved that we pulled through. Then you have the pussies who will ignore all the signs and compare us to some all time great team.
