I'd like to see him get two weeks off after his GT start and be fresh for the post-season. He's doesn't have a lot of extra pounds on him to draw on after a long season. He was throwing some mid 90's FBs early in season when he was at full strength.

And been a handful of years since he’s thrown this many innings in a season.

This is why you don't give up on games so early, Palmquist should've been out before he gave the two runs in the fourth.
Shouldn't let games get out of hand early if you can avoid it.
