Canes at VT

Our inability to close teams out when they're on the ropes is going to catch up to us come tourney time

That last part of the game shows we still have to get a lot better at some things but that being said we won on the road and we battled. We are strong and hopefully get stronger but I’m a happy fan….

Good road win, especially considering we shot poorly. With even an average shooting game that would have been a double digit win
Look at the entire box , out rebounded them by 10, less turnovers, more fast break points, better free throw shooting = win on the road.

Felt we rebounded well too. A couple lapses in the first half but that’s alright.
For all the talk about how small we are, we have been outrebounding teams the last 4-5 games, at least. Though, previous game against Wake I think we had the same as them. But we outrebounded Duke, UNC, VT, etc. Says something about our tenacity. And Omier.

It’s lead by Omier, but it’s been a team effort. Even pack is getting them.

In fact, you’d have to go back to 1/31 and the loss to pitt to find a game where we were outrebounded.

Good road win. VT is always a pain in the a$$. As for complaining about closing them out, our biggest lead was 10 and at the end they never got within 6. So I'm not sure what the complaint is.
