I've never liked Dorito's three linebacker scheme and this soft zone s*it giving receivers a 7-9 yard cushion. I'm not even going to start about yesterdays fiasco where Louisville has taken multiple "scrubs" from Miami who we didn't offer scholies to and now there jumping routes and abusing what's supposed to be our strongpoint, the offensive line. This bend but don't break crap needs to go, and if it means Golden and he are a package, so be it. Look at these stats:

Pittsburgh
averaging 236 passing yds/game and 125 rushing yds/game
Against Miami: 281 passing yds and 220 rushing yds

Duke
Averaging 234 passing yds/game and 173 rushing yds/game
Against Miami: 185 passing yds and 358 rushing yds:ibisroflmao:

Virginia
Averaging 211 passing yds/game and 156 rushing yds/game
Against Miami: 240 passing yds and 243 rushing yds

Wake Forest
Averaging 196 passing yds/game and 91 rushing yds/game
Against Miami: 302 passing yds

The proof is in the pudding, so I ask all of you WHEN Dorito is fired, who can be possible replacements? I'm thinking Bud Foster

Jim Leavitt or bust.

If Leavitt declines because he's waiting for a HC gig, then Golden should offer him the HC gig and demote himself to Director of Public Relations.

Dorito isn't going anywhere.

But if he were, Jim Leavitt. Then Blake James can fire Golden next year and hand the keys to a real ******* coach and program builder.
 
D'onofrio is getting fired along with several other coaches.. Just wait.. Leslie Frazier just became available

It'll just be a new guy with the same marching orders, changing the DC won't make a difference if Golden's still on the same bull**** he's on now.
 
Change the defensive coordinator to who? This is Golden's scheme. Golden is the man responsible for not being able to get his team ready for a bowl game in a month's time. Moar excuses.
 
Leavitt, is the antithesis of this scheme, attacking aggressive and in your face. That's what I want.

isn't golden a defensive guy himself does he do any of the scheme and game day prep for the defense

Butch Davis, then if Golden doesn't get it done Promote Butch and hire Jim Leavitt to DC. Also replace Jethro after signing day.
 
If Al doesn't see the light and sticks with this scheme, wow, God bless him. Better move is hiring Leavitt to run the defense and bring in Coach O as asst HC/defensive line coach.
