Can the D stop the Lateral Pass this year?

I'm more worried about getting pressure.

that will help a TON.... if these guys are playing soft or pressing, it won't matter much if the QB has 20 minutes to find the open guy.

Nobody should expect our defense to play lights out this year. If we can improve from last year, great. But we are still missing some pieces.

I think the better question is can we stop a QB keeper off the option?

You guys should watch bama play defense. They have moments where they play 10 yards off. However, the big difference (besides pass rush) is they have the ability to play press as well. I expect the defense to be alot different this year.
