Seems as if several defenses have picked up on that, are we unable for some reason to employ a snap count?

My guess it was to throw off the effects of crowd noise, but all it really does is eliminate the advantage of knowing a snap count for the OL (and I feel like we did it when it really shouldn't have been an issue). If you're wondering why the OL couldn't get leverage against teams, that's a pretty good one.

It is one of the many **** poor coaching decisions that has gone on this year. Announcers have been pointing it out for the bulk of the season- yet our coaches don't change it? its as if no one told them because everyone figured, oh that? yeah of course they'll change that before the next game, no one can be that stupid. And yet- here we are 6 games later? same ****.

If there was even one competent south Florida sports reporter, we would already know the answer to your question.

That **** is infuriating and a strategic blunder.

I'll gladly trade a few false starts for a gamefull of my OL getting its **** pushed in.

Remember when we used to ***** about all the false starts... this was their solution

I kept hoping it was setting it up so that we could draw the other team off sides one play, but apparently not.

If you're going to do that, at least change the timing between the tap and when the ball is snapped.

I remember us using a silent count in places like the Carrier Dome against 'Cuse back in the day. I would much rather have that.

The best way I can explain the OP original question is to say that its just another ****** *** tactic employed by a ****** *** coaching staff.

lol....i believe u, but i hope it isnt true...throw off crowd noise vs a team from ky and we in florida

This isn't something new or something that other teams don't do. It isn't responsible for our issues.
