Can someone explain the UGA rumors?

He did a Interview months ago that was very pro-UGA. Since ibthinkbthe luster has worn off a bit. Sony is very close with UGA's staff but I think he stays home. Mom, Dad & Hurlie Brown win this battle for us.

After 5 years following recruiting I now at least consider myself a recruiting veteran. In that time, if there is this much buzz/smoke/info surrounding someones imminent commitment with no mention of Miami, they are going to that school. Now, in the coming days if the tone starts to change that he will be coming to Miami then that would indicate to me either a massive effort to change his mind occured (i.e. parents stepped in) or UGA was all a huge smoke screen. With the lack of opinion that Miami is going to land him, I'm saying it's the former and to which I will give up on recruiting and probably life in general until August

Probably because he's going to UGA. Those guys get it right more often than not.

I would like to see actual stats on this statement.
bro its over lol your going to be heart broken on the 26th

****...sucks to hear that Sony. I think your an outstanding athlete with a great future. I wish you the best of luck in Athens, but I think you will regret your decision.

You dont know ****...so stop pretending like its an absolute.

Not announcing on the 26th anymore.

he is announcing next week as planned. there was confusion but i think he tweeted out that he is announcing next week as planned. and experts know as much as us with recruits. only person that knows is sony and well find out soon enough. weve been on him since the 8th grade and if that isnt enough to keep him home, then whatever al did what he could but the kid didnt wanna stay home. hes been to UM plenty of times and i still think **** end up here especially when KC and co gets a hold of him. btw with the so called great RBs at UGA, where are they in the NFL?!?

i was thinking the same thing if you start hearing a miami buzz next week then he is picking miami but until then he is all UGA

The thing about the smoke that's coming out of his recruitment is that it's pretty much bull****. All people have done is interpret his interviews. He's never said so and so is ahead or whatever. ****, even his closest friends don't know where he's leaning. It's a guessing game at this point.

Not really, everyone around him knows it's between Miami and Georgia, they just don't know which one. It's not looking good for us right now

Here's a good policy for this forum - if you are guessing, don't make matter-of-fact declarative statements. Preface your guess with "I think" or "I feel". Way too many folks acting like they have concrete knowledge of what's going to happen. If you know something, that's great... But don't just throw out "he ain't coming" and leave it sitting there for us to guess if you really know what you are talking about or guessing like the rest of us.

"Insiders" actually talk to his coaches, uncle, etc. I'm sure there are a lot of people around the kid who know what his decision is going to be, and it's leaked out.

Three of the Top 5-6 RBs in the country happen to be in South FL this year. Rarely do you have two RBs in the Top 5-6 go to the same school. Because of this, the most likely result was always going to be that we get 1 of 3, with 2 of 3 being an unlikely dream scenario and 3 of 3 being completely unrealistic.
