Can FSU and VT legitimize the ACC this year?

You know it. FSU isn't even in my Top 4 for hated schools; those spots are occupied by Va Tech, Florida, Ohio State and Notre Dame. I also have a growing dislike for the Virginia Cavaliers as well.

#uck Virginia Tech with a Girl with the Dragon Tattoo sized *****.......

Spoken like a true old school Cane, especially with regard to FSU and Florida. Virginia Tech amuses me.

***** both of 'em, but especially Tech.

i dont understand your logic? you hate VT more than FSU?

Yes I do and here's my logic:

Florida State is the annoying lil brother, always wanting to beat the big brother. Its not hate with them for me, its more like grudging respect. Florida is HATE.

Virginia Tech has NEVER won anything, will NEVER win anything, but thinks they're royalty. I have no respect for a team who loads up with cupcakes at home, early in the season, year after year. *uck Virginia Tech, str8 up.

And in case you missed it, I did say ***** them BOTH.....

There's no reason to believe this year will be any different than the rest with Va Tech. They find a way to underachieve whenever anyone thinks they will be good, then win 9 0r 10 games when people think they will drop off. Expect another 9-3 season from them, maybe 10-2 if the schedule is as easy as it is every year. But they will find a way to lose at least 2, usually against 2 of their top 3 opponents.

I have zero faith in either of those programs to do anything different than what they've done the last several years.
FSU still has EJ at QB and unless he makes huge strides, he's not the guy IMO. VT has that monster at QB, but at the end of the day if Miami plays defense last year in Blacksburgh they (VT) lose to a way average Miami team.

Vtech should finish as they have

FSU is the question, more the offense than defense, that defense is gonna be stout.

Both teams should be good, but VT always seems to lose a 1-2 games they have no business losing, and also tend to struggle when there are high expectation for them.

FSU should have a top tier Defense, but like VT, lose games they have no business losing. Until that changes I will remain skeptical.

Back to the original question, I don't think the ACC will be considered elite until Miami, FSU, VT, and Clemson have some prolonged success.

I dunno, VT plays FSU, CLemson, Miami and GT this year. They'll be luck to split those 4 games 2-2.

And FSU will lose again to teams they shouldn't lose too.

They'll each lose at least 1 game they shouldn't, probably 2, and then one of them will lose in the Orange Bowl.

LOL! NOTHING will legitimize the weakest BCS conference, until it stops being the weakest BCS conference.

I got fsu losing to clemson and VT

Both teams will also drop games they shouldnt and both fan bases will still act like their coaches are lombardi and coughlin

FSU will drop 4 games or so, as they always do.

GOAT 4 loss team in the history of cfb.

I feel like they're going to be better than that, but they will still lose 2 they shouldn't.

I'm not sold on Jimbo as a coach, seems like Ron Zook. A guy that can recruit some great classes, but it doesn't show on the field.
