Striker has nothing to do with CB

With an extra safety, you tend to use a nickel corner a lot less than you would if you played a traditional 4-3. In a 4-2-5 you use the same personnel against a 3 Wr set as you would against a 2 WR set. If you’re playing a traditional 4-3 defense, you would sub out a linebacker for a third CB in passing situations. With so many teams running no huddle offenses, you can’t just sub a nickel or dime package in and out of the game so you need your base to be flexible
