Can everyone stop bichin about the DB room now?

We pulled in 6 DB's for 2020....5 4* and 1 3* (on different sites) .

Your arguments are invalid.

Most people ***** just to *****, but I will say our depth at this current time at CB is not good. Only two returning players with more than a few snaps of live game experience is not ideal. However, the room is talented

DB room got better but let’s not act like we haven’t got the last 2 were shockers but I’ll give credit when it’s due. We definitely got a lot better in the secondary.

Still only 4 corners for spring sooooooooo

This is such a silly argument on multiple levels.

1) It's the spring. Numbers will always be down in the spring, because you have a roster of 50-60 as opposed to a roster of ~80.
2) We have a striker, which means CBs get fewer snaps in this defense than a traditional 4-3 defense.

Depth obviously isn't a strength there, like it is at DE, but it's not a problem, either.

And in the fall we will have how many corners?
factor injuries into the equation(please nobody get hurt)
Now the wear and tear during the season.
Depth obviously isn’t a strength but it’s a silly argument? How tf does that work?

Striker has nothing to do with CB

I will say this, the last 2 DBs class have been pretty good, it's just suck that Banda and Rumph first 2 DBs class were **** poor... that just shows how green they both were at first and underqualified they were....they are getting better and now starting to show why they deserve to stay, not that my opinion means anything.

Of course it does...

There are typically 2 corners on the field and 3 LBs. In most 4-3s, a LB occasionally comes off the field and a corner comes in, to get more speed on the field and improve pass defense. In our defense, we have a striker instead of a 3rd LB, reducing the need to sub in a CB for a LB.

Our strikers have been converted safeties (Finley, maybe Carter this year) and corners (Frierson). Our striker is basically a defensive back.

But if you disagree, go ahead and walk me through the math here. In our defense, who comes out of the game to get that 3rd corner on the field? Who comes out of the game for that 4th corner?

Which of our safeties might be able to play corner if necessary? The evaluation suggested Avantae has played some but he's better as a safety.

Which is stupid, because our strikers are always getting burnt against the slot, just put in another CB or S that can actually cover.

Our depth at CB sucked this year. That’s why we could only go 3 deep.

LBs should be coming off the field.

Base is 4-3 with a striker basically being a weak side LB.

Nickel should be 3 CBs, striker, and an LB

Dime should be 4 CBs and striker or could be an LB if we have a solid coverage LB like Huff should be.

LOL...Are they 4*s like DJ Ivey was a 4*???? Because if you think Keshawn Washington was one of even the top 30 players in Sofla I have land I want to sell you.

Just stop, YOUR little arguments are invalid.

Good job though overall, great pull by Banda today.
