That's true but he also used to love the "recruiting services" that got him in the hot water that magically kinda went away too.

I’m shocked that usc struggles given they are the only big name school on the west coast that are first in nearly every elite prospects list on that side of the country yet still find a way to lose 3-4 games a year. They usually close well in recruiting but disappoint every year when the season comes around.

Agree. At least (although still inexcusable) UCLA can blame a previously longterm lack of a financial commitment to football.

In Alabama, they have a in house "recruiting services" team. Chip should have just called them "Team Analyst"

Yeah honestly USC should be way better. Mario is owning them on the trail and he didn't win 10 games. USC was the talk of the town yesterday on ESPN cause they were astonished at how low their class was ranked(like 23rd i think). Honestly with Kliff coming in i am surprised also.

Solid perspective. Which explains why the the successful coaches are elite at something. For Chip its his Scheme / X and Os. You can win with less if you know how to effectively utilize your personnel and recruit to what you do best.

On one hand, I'm considering blocking you. No human being should be this excited still about our class/chances with top guys.

On the other hand, I want to see how this fairytale attitude is received by the board and see if/when the truth about the current state of our program hits you.

I'm torn.
