I've wondered if this intruding one year wonder would ruin the chemistry of the team. Comment wise it seems not but I'll won't be surprised if later we find there was conflict. I never felt Cam was a true Cane whereas our recruits express the thrill of becoming a Hurricane as an honor.
We supposedly got top talent via the portal yet the portal Canes performed quite well where they went, more so than what we got from the portal. Team chemistry starts during recruitment, I hate the portal. Coach what we have and not have them portal to success elsewhere.

I’ve read some dumb stuff on here but this might top it all. Without Cam Ward we’re lucky to win 7/8 games…
 
Here’s my thing. Every time I bring up Emory Williams not being it some musty old guy tells me the guys on green tree think he’s the truth. I’m here to tell you. Fella’s… the guys on green tree STINK. You wanna take those guys word go for it. Not I though lol
 
Yall giving him too much credit by thinking he’s trolling lol, i think he’s dead serious and just that out of his mind

He’s not the only one that thinks “ball control”> #1 offense.

Two things in the fsu game,Speicla Teams ( a pet peeve of mine, we need a real coach) screwed up inthe 4th quarter givingup a 70 yard returnanf if Emory doen't get hurt YVD doesn'tdo what TVD kept doing...an int.

Did we build anything for our future? How many players will hit the portal? How many recruits will bail? You want to keep the portal players that under performed or develop our recruits? We might end up like fsu...one year wonder leaves and we built nothing.

No, Mario is an elite recruiter who will stack the roster with Butch level talent. Just give him time.

I did feel there were games where we should have run the ball more.

If you are ripping off 8 yards at will, you keep running until they stop you... not the time to get cute with a pass.

We would have a few nice runs and then pass/incomplete instead of feeding it.

3 years of HS recruiting and the transfer portal and we still had a horrendous defense. You have more faith than me

The OP must be trolling.

Getting an accomplished/veteran QB like Cam in the transfer portal should be standard operating procedure moving forward.

No you're just not giving him a fair chance. You got to keep building. This year was the "winning close" phase of things. Next year we win big. You'll see.
