Listening to Lake and Gaby on a podcast....

They are saying the belief is USC is involved with both Ward and Howard. It's a little vague as to the interest OSU really has in Cam Ward. No one seems to really have a feel for what is going on there - might have been more of a "thing" last week.

They are saying that Ward's camp is hyping up FSU as a contender.

USC has a 5 star QB from last year's class and another 4 star QB behind him.. big risk going to USC over Miami to compete against a 5 star. We have no competition and an amazing OL.

Hope I am wrong but wouldn't surprise me one bit, if they are actually waiting for one qb in particular, that the other one commits to another school and then Miami is left with nothing when one they are waiting for decides to go somewhere else.

I actually disagree here. The people on the board who we trust have said Howard and Ward are 1B and 1A. I think it is smart to get eyes on both of them, I think the original timeline was supposed to be Ward over the weekend and Howard from Monday-Tuesday and decision by then. That did not work as Ward for whatever reason couldnt come. So Howard came as planned, Ward comes today. Both are still in play and you can somewhat pit them against one another.

That is just an old sales technique.... when my boy and I would scalp tickets at dolphin games for extra cash if someone was haggling too much we had a hand signal so the spotter could see, walk up, ask about the tickets, offer to pay more than the dbag trying to haggle and every.single.time the dbag would then drop the negotiating, argue he was there first, pay with the quickness and dip.

Now if one commits elsewhere, or we dont have a commit by Friday/this weekend then I think you have some true warning signs.

He QB’ed a 10-3 team in 2021, a 10-2 record in 2022, and 8-4 in 2023 at a historically awful Oregon state in a very competitive PAC 10

To say his ceiling is 8-4 is a bit of a stretch.
