I’m not blaming that on him. The enigma of jg is something else where he will do something amazing and then completely negate it with a boneheaded play. Just him alligator arming catches costed 3 ints to ward.

Nope. Smith starts and we make the playoffs.

But this question is irrelevant to the discussion. You’re insinuating because he may not be as good as Smith was last season that he can’t be elite next season. Ward simply said he’s next up. Your point of view would apply more if Ward had said something to the effect of he was the best WR on the team last season.

Also, off the top of my head I don’t think Trader enrolled early and also had some nagging minor injuries.

Elite is JS….top ten pick type wr is elite. Elite is can he perform at a high level vs top tier teams. My definition of elite is different than yours. Can he be good? Yes


But good usually ends up as. “ Why is our OC not getting the ball to Jojo” vs a OSU UGA or whoever is elite that season. Then people like me say talent and then others say no we have the talent, because they saw Jojo go ham vs Wake Forest UNC FSU etc. different levels of comp. Cam can do that vs anyone he can make Horton a good player and make a wr group catch bs anyone. We do not have that this season at qb imo.


A guy that can make what you have seem better than what they are.

Also never thought he was elite based off film. He was good but not elite. Elite is a different word. Maybe @mirvin88 is right and he didn’t say elite, and my stupid *** ain’t read it. But my point would still stand, if he was elite like a JS we wouldn’t be going crazy portal hunting for a wr1

He has elite body control and hands. Give me elite speed and route tree with an NFL wr1 body, pause. Those the traits I want the other things you can improve upon.


He’s good but we need to do better, the wr coach needs to do way better. He’s at UM not UNC

I want 1st round talent, get back to being NFLU

The recruiting has got to be a **** of a lot better. Iron sharpens iron, need some plug and play receivers that push the room every year

Someone needs to be upgraded on the staff. No one wants to say it cause it’s a former cane.
If he can’t do it this cycle then what’s the point in having that coach here?
I believe we will upgrade next season, I wish it were this season but I would assume it’s too late already.
