Even if Cam went to Mario and said I want to play in whatever bowl game we get there is 0% chance Mario likely would even let him. Likely would tell the kid thank you for your service to the university but I'm not letting you risk injury when you are a top 5 pick.

It’s like all the sudden, the season is over. It’s also knowing we’ll never again see an offense that prolific at UM.

True, on the other hand 12 teams without an Cam Ward make the playoffs. Sure with better defenses.

The way he’s been getting hit lately, I would suspect he would protect his draft status. Until these young men are given draft protection, playing a bowl game, especially one that’s not even a NY6 does nothing for them.

Not sure if cam has made a bowl game before or if he has only probably 1 time

Played in the L.A Bowl in 2022, stunk it up…

There’s no benefit of him playing in the bowl game. It literally doesn’t help him. If he has a great game, cool, it just proves what he’s already done all yr. However, if he stinks it up or even gets injured, perception can change.

I would love for him to play, but there’s no upside.
