So many accounts. I feel like half of them are probes to gauge where you can stimulate posts and clicks in general. It's a very covertly managed ecosystem

They already knew Williams isn’t the answer. They had no other options.

I don’t know why Cam quit. If NIL said he had to play a half then giving him kudos for playing was a little off I guess. Glad he played for the U though so it’s appreciated.

We had to find out if Emory had learned anything from Cam and if he could actually convert in the red zone under pressure.

We found out what we needed to know. That was actually more important to the Program than walking home with a toaster-shaped trophy and putting it next to our 2001 Natty Trophy and the one from 2016.

I suspect they'll pay for the Bridge QB and move on to Luke Nickel. If nobody shows up, Luke's the man, possibly as early as the ND game. He's got the goods, apparently.

agree on the Emory part. They clearly knew what they had. Talked him up knowing they would have to put him on the field.

What i DON't understand is why not get a QB from the portal during the December window. Worried Emory would leave?

Yup. That was a record grabbing move. Nothing more, nothing less. You don't bring Emory in to see what he's got then run 10 straight times on a drive.

Restrepo has the most heart on the team and didn't play. If it wasn't for that record, I'm not sure cam plays either.

I about **** myself when Williams threw it into the back of a defensive lineman’s helmet.

I still am not sure I saw that.

Told the Iowa Sate people I was watching the game with that they won when we took the 3…. I also told them we should have tried a 97 yard field goal…they laughed and agreed we had a better chance with that then our QB getting into range.

Backup qb situation reminded me of Dolphins 🤣
